Commissioning Site Manager (MEP) Milan, Italy €70,000 - €80,000 Package Holidays Data Centre Projects Immediate Start Available We are working with a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major technical and data centre projects across Europe. Due to continued growth and live projects in Italy, they are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Commissioning Site Manager to join their delivery team. This is a key site-based role focused on leading commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems at various sites throughout Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP systems are properly installed, tested and commissioned in accordance with the project specifications and industry standards. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and managing a team of site-based engineers and technicians to ensure timely and efficient commissioning of MEP systems; • Coordinating with other stakeholders such as architects, designers, contractors and clients to ensure that all parties are aware of the commissioning process and timelines; • Developing and maintaining detailed commissioning plans and schedules for each project; • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues or defects; • Collaborating with the project management team to develop and implement corrective actions as needed; • Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards, regulations and best practices. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, electrical, civil); • At least 5 years of experience in MEP commissioning or a related field; • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and technicians; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders; • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
