Ideal Candidate iTerra Kids Academy is looking for individuals passionate about technology, education, and working with children for two part-time roles: IT Mentor and Programming Course Assistant. For the IT Mentor role, we are looking for: • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Python, Scratch, Roblox Studio/Lua, Minecraft Education, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Unity, Blender, Figma, or other relevant technologies; • The ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner; • Patience, responsibility, and excellent communication skills; • The ability to work with children and teenagers of different age groups; • Experience in teaching or working with children is an advantage, but not mandatory. For the Programming Course Assistant role, we are looking for: • Interest in technology, education, and working with children; • General knowledge of using computers, laptops, and digital equipment; • Very good communication and organizational skills; • Patience, punctuality, responsibility, and attention to detail; • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; • Experience working with children is an advantage, but not mandatory. General Requirements: • Very good knowledge of the Romanian language; • Knowledge of English and/or Russian is an advantage; • University degree completed or in progress, preferably in IT, pedagogy, or a related field; • Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn; • Availability for a part-time schedule, according to the groups' timetable, including weekends. Job Description iTerra Kids Academy Romania is expanding its team in Bucharest and is recruiting colleagues for two part-time positions: 1. IT Mentor for children and teenagers; 2. Programming Course Assistant. iTerra Kids Academy is a modern programming and digital technologies academy for children and teenagers aged between 6 and 17 years old. Our students study programming, game and application development, web design, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity through interactive lessons and practical projects. IT Mentor Responsibilities: • Teaching lessons according to the iTerra Kids Academy curriculum; • Explaining technical concepts in an accessible way adapted to the students' age; • Organizing practical activities and coordinating individual and team projects; • Supporting and motivating students throughout the learning process; • Monitoring each student's progress and providing constructive feedback; • Collaborating with the group assistant and the academic team; • Participating in trainings and methodological meetings; • Creating a friendly, safe, and motivating atmosphere during lessons. Assistant Responsibilities: • Opening and closing the location where the lessons take place; • Preparing the classroom, laptops, and equipment before the start of classes; • Tracking student attendance and completing internal reports; • Communicating organizational information to parents and students; • Supporting the mentor in conducting lessons and maintaining discipline within the group; • Assisting children who encounter difficulties and require extra attention; • Organizing and supervising breaks; • Maintaining order and a safe and pleasant environment at the location; • Contributing to the creation of a united community and a friendly atmosphere within the group.
