Job description
Vacature: Mentor / Curator (24–32 uur) With possibility of deployment as Board Member Introduction Are you a resilient, people-oriented person who takes responsibility in a function with great social impact? Are you someone who is not easily knocked out of the field, supports, leads and organizes everything from A to Z? Do you have affinity with the socio-judicial sector and want to work with vulnerable adults who are dependent on professional representation? Then Papillion Bewindvoering BV in Almere has a special and versatile job for you as Mentor/Curator, with the possibility of — if you meet the requirements — also performing tasks as board member. Organization & Follow-up In connection with a planned succession within our team, we are looking for a new Mentor/Curator. This creates space to add a new, engaged professional to our team. You will end up in a well-organized company where the foundation is laid, and you can contribute to the next step in development.
RequirementsFunctie-eisen:
What will you do? As mentor and curator, you represent clients who are temporarily unable to make their own decisions on matters of care, well-being, and/or finances. You advocate for their interests, provide care and support, monitor their stability, and ensure their rights. In this function: you represent clients in the field of care, treatment, guidance, and well-being (mentoring/curating); take decisions when clients are unable to do so themselves; maintain contact with healthcare institutions, caregivers, municipalities, and other involved parties; monitor the well-being, safety, and continuity of care; work methodically and carefully on files and reports for the court; ensure — if you are also deployable as a board member — financial management, budgeting, and debt files; provide oversight, prioritization, and decisive progress in complex situations. You will work independently and within a tight team that supports each other and works with short lines.
BenefitsVoordelen:
Why work at Papillion Bewindvoering BV? At Papillion Bewindvoering BV, you will end up in a growing and professional organization where quality, involvement, and humanity are central. You make concrete social impact: your input ensures that clients regain grip, safety, and stability. We offer a working environment where: you never stand alone in complex casuistry; collegiality and short communication lines are the norm; space is for professional development and specialization; you really make a difference for people who depend on your judgment and involvement. A service agreement of 24–32 hours per week. Market-conform salary, matching knowledge, experience, and responsibilities. A contract of 12 months, with prospects for a permanent employment contract upon good performance. A versatile job within multiple protective measures (mentor, curator, and optionally board member). A dynamic and socially valuable job where every day is different. Possibility of training and further vocational development. A engaged team with short lines and space for your own initiative. Working days Monday to Friday; working hours 08:00 to 16:30 (flexible in consultation).
Other:
Candidate Profile We are looking for a concerned, careful, and communicative person with interest in complex human and care questions. You have affinity with both the socio-judicial and care domains and feel responsible for the well-being of your clients. You: have a relevant MBO/HBO education, such as SJD, MDW or SPH; meet the training requirements for appointment as mentor and curator, or can meet these requirements; have knowledge of or experience in: healthcare offer, long-term care, healthcare institutions, and socio-judicial work fields; are able to carefully weigh, analyze, and quickly decide when necessary; are able to work independently and maintain overview in complex situations; communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically; master the Dutch language exceptionally well in word and writing; are reachable and low-threshold for clients and care partners; possess a B driving license.
