Working Supervisor

For an international producer in the horticultural sector, we are looking for a Working Logistics Supervisor. In this role, you will be the connecting link between the shop floor, planning, and production. You will combine leadership with hands-on work and ensure that the daily logistics operation runs safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

This is not a position where you sit behind a computer all day. You will be visible on the shop floor, allocate work, support colleagues where needed, and jump in yourself on the forklift or reach truck. You will be given a lot of responsibility and will actively contribute to improvements within the logistics process. • Daily manage, guide, and motivate the logistics team;
• Actively participate in loading and unloading with the forklift and reach truck;
• Allocate tasks and monitor the daily schedule;
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods flows;
• Check incoming goods and identify discrepancies;
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment according to the 5S methodology;
• Coordinate with production, planning, and dispatch to ensure processes align optimally;
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency within the warehouse;
• Support with facility and logistics tasks during quieter periods.

• A salary between €3,200 and €3,800 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience;

• MBO-4 work and thinking level, preferably in logistics;
• Experience within a logistics environment, where you have supervised colleagues or are ready for this step;
• Experience with the forklift and reach truck;
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• Willingness to work flexibly in shift services between 05:00 and 22:00.
