Job description

As a Working Foreman Technical Service, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the machinery and technical installations. You actively work on the shop floor, while simultaneously overseeing the planning, maintenance activities, and technical improvements.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing, guiding, and coaching mechanics within the Technical Service department;
  • Developing and managing maintenance plans for machines and installations;
  • Performing preventive maintenance and resolving malfunctions;
  • Contributing to technical improvements and optimization projects;
  • Coordinating maintenance activities and aligning the schedule;
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers and external parties;
  • Working with a maintenance management system and keeping technical administration up-to-date;
  • Participating in projects related to the expansion and modernization of installations.

For this position, we are looking for a self-sufficient and practical technician with leadership qualities. You know how to motivate colleagues and keep a cool head during technical challenges.

In addition, we require:

  • A completed MBO-4 (vocational secondary education) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Experience within a production or food environment;
  • Experience with maintenance management and technical installations;
  • Technical insight in both mechanical and electrical fields;
  • Leadership experience or the ambition to grow in this area;
  • A proactive and solution-oriented attitude;
  • Willingness to occasionally work on Saturdays or holidays.
