Medical Controller (m/w/d)

As Medical Controller (m/w/d), you will take on a central role in hospital operations: You ensure precise medical documentation, support with DRG coding and work closely with doctors, nursing staff and administration. Tasks
- Analyse and review stationary treatment cases and medical documentation
- Coding of stationary cases according to DRG Systematics and ensuring correct billing
- Processing of inquiries and inspection procedures from the Medical Service (MD)
- Preparation of statements and communication with health insurance companies
- Consultation and support for medical and nursing staff on documentation and coding
- Participation in optimizing documentation and billing processes
- Attendance at team meetings and professional training sessions in medical controlling
Qualification
- Completed medical or nursing education, e.g. health and nursing care, MFA or Physician Assistant
- First experience in medical controlling, coding or stationary patient care
- Knowledge of medical documentation, terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with DRG Systematics is an advantage
- Structured, self-reliant working style and analytical thinking
- Communication skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
