Mid-Level Network DevOps Engineer

What will you do:

As a Mid-Level Network DevOps Engineer, you will work within diverse and sometimes complex network environments on management, implementations, migrations, and automation. You have a good command of network management and are ready for the next step where you will further develop yourself towards DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and architecture.

You will work hands‑on with colleagues on client environments and will be given the space to learn new techniques, deepen knowledge, and gain experience with automation and standardization. You will resolve incidents, contribute to improvements, and actively participate in the further professionalization of network environments.

In doing so, you will work with leading technologies and vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Meraki, Aruba Networks, and Zscaler.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in network management.

• A combination of strong technical network knowledge and communication skills.

• Experience with designing and managing networks within campus, datacenter, and WAN environments.

• Knowledge of and experience with common Wi‑Fi techniques.

• Understanding of how network services interact with other IT outsourcing services within client environments.

• The ability to translate functional customer requirements into technical specifications, prerequisites, and network solutions.

• Interest in and basic experience with DevOps methodologies and automation.

• Familiarity with ITIL and Prince2.

• Experience with coding automation solutions based on Python and Ansible is a plus.
