Mid-Level Mendix Developer

Are you a Mid-Level Mendix Developer with a few years of experience and ready for the next step? At Squad Apps in Utrecht, you will work together with experienced Mendix consultants, architects, and designers on challenging projects for clients at home and abroad. You will be given a lot of freedom, work in multidisciplinary squads, and further develop yourself within a team where quality, collaboration, and enjoyment are central.

Your role

As a Mid-Level Mendix Developer at Squad Apps, you will work on smart Mendix solutions for various clients and sectors. Think of projects within healthcare, entertainment, chemistry, services, and international environments.

You are not alone. Squad Apps deliberately works in squads, consisting of different disciplines such as Mendix consultants, UX specialists, designers, and architects. This allows you to brainstorm with experienced colleagues, continuously learn, and together deliver solutions that are technically strong and align well with client needs.

In this role, you will not only build applications but also contribute to thinking about the best approach, user experience, and long-term solution. You will take ownership of your work, ask critical questions, and actively seek ways to better help clients.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Developing and improving Mendix applications

• Participating in diverse projects for national and international clients

• Translating client requirements into practical and scalable solutions

• Collaborating with Mendix consultants, architects, UX specialists, and designers

• Contributing to thinking about quality, user-friendliness, and technical choices

• Further developing your own expertise within Mendix

Who we are looking for

For this role, we are looking for someone who already has Mendix experience and is ready to grow in depth. You don't have to be able to do everything yet, but you must be curious, take responsibility, and enjoy collaborating with other specialists.

What fits well with this role:

• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level

• 2 to 5 years of experience with Mendix development

• Minimum Mendix Intermediate certification

• Mendix Advanced certification is a plus

• You take ownership of your work and think beyond just the assignment

• You are enthusiastic about Mendix and the platform's possibilities

• You are eager to learn and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team

• You think along with clients and look for the best long-term solution
