Your Role

As a Medior, you are not only a low-code developer but also actively involved as a business engineer, with guidance from our Seniors where necessary. Within a team of Mendix experts, you will build new business applications.

From a web application that automates processes for a large European Banking institution, setting up a Mendix App Factory for a team of low-code rookies, to developing a mobile native app that connects newcomers with Dutch people. At Blue Green, anything is possible.

Collaboration is the norm for us, whether that's at the office in Amsterdam, at home, or at the client's location. We find it important to see each other regularly, for lunch or drinks, to learn from each other or just to catch up.

We have several experienced Mendix Experts in our team. People you can brainstorm with, who support you, and vice versa. We share knowledge, experience, and use cases during our bi-weekly Mendix Mingles.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are Mendix Advanced Certified. Furthermore, you are Scrum PSM-1 certified or familiar with agile working.
• As an experienced low-code developer, you build applications independently from scratch and can optimize existing apps. Additionally, you enjoy gaining more experience as a Mendix consultant. Think about spotting opportunities with your clients, considering how processes and systems can truly work well, and inspiring people with your enthusiasm for low-code.
• Experience with UX / UI, Java, or any other expertise that adds value to our team is a great plus!
• As an organization without managers and bosses, we expect you to dare to take responsibility and gain energy from spotting opportunities and acting on them immediately. Whether it's for your own development, the client, or the organization.
• Furthermore, you speak and write Dutch and English well and live in the Netherlands.
• Preferably, you also possess a B driving license.

What We Offer

At Blue Green, we believe in transparency, so you'll get all the employment conditions upfront:

• Between €50k and €80k gross per year, for a full-time employment (40h)
• Monthly project bonus, which can amount to up to 25% of your gross monthly salary.
• To enable you to do your work effectively, you will receive a monthly allowance for:
  • €25 for your phone costs
  • €40 for fast internet at home
  • €850 for your travel expenses (bicycle, public transport, car, or motorcycle)
• The opportunity to buy shares and thus co-undertake
• 8% of your monthly salary as holiday pay
• 30 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.
• Every 4 years, you can take a maximum of 4 months of unpaid leave. This allows you to explore the world without putting your career on hold. But you must come back!
• Fun drinks, game nights, BBQs, Mendix meetups, and our own staff association!

Step 1: Phone Call: We will call you soon after you submit your application for a brief introduction and to schedule a follow-up appointment.

Step 2: Meet & Greet: We invite you to our office in Amsterdam for a conversation with multiple colleagues. We want to get to know you and are curious about your technical skills and ambitions. Of course, you can also ask us all your questions.

Step 3: Offer: Do we see a match? Then we will make an offer in the same week as the Meet & Greet. We are happy to discuss this with you at our office.

Step 4: Onboarding: Signed? Great, welcome to the team! Your personal buddy will guide you through the first month, your self-chosen gear will be ready on your first workday, and a first project to dive into will be prepared for you, smooth sailing from here!
