We develop and produce interactive edutainment game systems for children that are used worldwide in hospitals, shops, hotels, and restaurants. From the first idea to the final product, everything comes from one hand - including individual designs for our customers.

To continue growing and creating new, creative solutions for child entertainment, we're looking for you as a Media Designer:in / Graphic Designer:in / Media Design:in (m/w/d) in full-time. In a small, well-established team, you'll work on varied projects where quality, pedagogical standards, and plenty of fun are at the forefront.

The OrgaControl GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of individually produced, interactive edutainment game systems for children in commercial environments. Our solutions are used worldwide in areas such as healthcare, retail, shopping, gastronomy, and hospitality.

We develop hardware and software, produce in-house, and distribute our game systems internationally. A focus is on individual design and the production of customer-specific solutions - our products are in use in over 30 countries. The emphasis is on high quality standards, intuitive operation, pedagogical responsibility - and the joy of enabling children to have special gaming experiences.

Aufgaben

Designing and further developing layouts for our interactive game systems (e.g., decorations, control surfaces, icons, screens, advertising materials)

• Image processing and preparation of logos, graphics, and illustrations
• Creating and refining print templates for our products and customer-specific solutions
• Developing visual concepts from the first idea to final implementation - both in 2D and 3D
• Optional: Creating 3D models and assets for games and applications (e.g., with Blender)
• Closely working together with development, sales, and production to optimize customer wishes
• Carefully reviewing your own work in terms of technical specifications and design guidelines

Qualifikation

Must-have

• Completed training as a Media Designer:in or equivalent qualification in the field of graphic design
• Familiarity with common layout software (Affinity Publisher, Adobe InDesign, or similar programs)
• Good knowledge of image processing with Affinity Photo or Adobe Photoshop
• Illustrative-graphic skills and a good sense for typography, colors, and layout
• Experience in creating and preparing print data (formats, trimming, color profiles, etc.)
• High attention to detail and precision when implementing design concepts
• Creative thinking and joy in visually representing customer wishes in a way that is appealing and practical
• Teamwork skills and willingness to work closely with colleagues from various departments

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Corel Painter
• Experience with Blender and 3D modeling
• Praxis in creating assets for games and interactive applications
• Basic understanding of User Experience (UX) in the context of interactive systems
