Media Designer (m/f/d) - Part-time or Full-time

For our clients, we are looking for someone who designs for print, web, and social media and talks to the people it is made for.

Who is FAKT.?

Seven people in Aurich, in the middle of East Frisia. We develop brands, messages, and identities for our clients. From the craft business two streets away to the industrial company with locations in half of Europe.

Full service means that everything happens here in-house: Brand and corporate design, WordPress websites, social media, photo and video, text and editorial. What we conceive, we also implement ourselves.

We are small enough that everyone knows what the other six are working on. And large enough for projects that you are still happy to show off two years later.

Tasks

What you do with us

You set and design. Stationery, flyers, brochures, advertisements, posters. Print-ready and clean, and when the printing company calls, you know what it's about.

You work on websites. Building pages, entering content, preparing images, making small layout adjustments. Our pages run on WordPress, we'll show you the rest.

You create content for social media. Carousels, story templates, graphics for campaigns. Often from photos we took ourselves at the client's site, not from the stock database.

And you manage clients. Consultations, revision rounds, follow-up questions. We don't have a contact department between you and the people you're designing for.

Qualification

What you bring with you

You have already worked in an agency and know the rhythm: several clients at the same time, priorities that change again on Tuesday.

InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are tools for you, not an obstacle. If a tool is new, you learn it.

You have an eye for typography and grids. And you notice when something is wrong before the client does.

You don't mind making phone calls. Clients should be able to call you without any of us having to translate.

Have you been away for a while?

Parental leave, caregiving, a break for other reasons: This is not a minus point for us. Programs change, design is not forgotten. We will train you in what is new, and you can gladly return part-time.
