Social Media Content Manager (100% Remote, m/w/d)

BootsschuleX is a specialized online sailing school for the official sailing license with several thousand participants per year and over 100 partner schools across Germany. We combine an innovative online learning platform with practice at over 100 locations. To strategically build our channels and bring our brand visually to the next level, we are looking for you as a Media Designer with Social Media expertise. You create independent designs and creatives, steer our channels content-wise, and ensure that every post and every ad-creative looks professional. If you combine design competence with strategic social media thinking and have a desire for real responsibility in a small team, you are exactly right here.

Design & Creative-Erstellung: You create independent graphics, ad-creatives, carousel-ads, and social media assets in the formats for Meta, Google, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. With Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or/and AI tools.

Kanalstrategie & Content-Planung: You analyze which formats and contents are currently working on which platform, develop a posting plan, and implement it independently.

Social Media Management: You manage our channels on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, publish content, and build our presence systematically.

Video- & Bildbearbeitung: You edit and process existing video material from shoots, recycle and repurpose older content to fresh formats like Reels, Stories, and Shorts.

Qualitätssicherung: You check every visual for brand conformity and ensure that nothing half-finished goes live. From feed post to ad-creative.

Community-Aufbau: You interact with our community, answer comments, and build trust, which turns followers into fans and customers.

UGC-Koordination: You brief external creators for UGC assignments, coordinate production, and ensure that the content fits our brand.

Trends & Ideen: You monitor social media trends, bring in your own content ideas, and think about how we can adapt them for our target audience.

Qualifikation

Gestaltungskompetenz: You have a training or strong practical experience in the field of media design or graphic design. Your designs look professional and are immediately usable.

Design-Tools: You work safely with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable tools and deliver results in the right formats for social media and paid ads.

Social-Media-Verständnis: You know what works on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, are familiar with current formats and trends, and understand how to build a community.

Cutting & Editing Skills: You can edit videos and process images, for example, with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools, and are fit in image processing.

AI-Affinität: You use AI tools for image generation, text suggestions, or creative workflows naturally in your daily life.

Eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten: You organize yourself independently in the home office, keep deadlines, and don't need micro-management.

Sprachgefühl: You write good captions and texts in German. Authentic and appealing.

Bonus: Experience with Meta Ad concepts, experience in UGC briefing, or you have already built a social media channel. Not a must.
