About the area: The Carrefour Private Label Product Development area has the mission to develop product lines that combine safety, high sensory quality, sustainability, and accessibility, providing an excellent customer experience. Our work is guided by four pillars: rigor in selection and formulation, ensuring safe and high-quality products; financial accessibility, seeking the best balance between quality and price; socio-environmental responsibility, promoting more sustainable solutions throughout the chain; and innovation, keeping up with trends and developing products that meet new consumer needs. With national operations, projects can have national or regional scope, according to business needs and different markets. Challenges of this position: * Definition of the Private Label product line to be developed in agreement with the commercial area, considering sales potential, regionality, and consumer clusters; * Prospecting for new suppliers and products that meet the requirements for Carrefour brand products, based on market research (evaluation of national brand assortment and competition, market trends, production location, minimum caliber, biodiversity impacts, product handling); * Alignment meetings with suppliers on Carrefour brand concepts and project development requirements and stages; * Elaboration of a briefing for project initiation with definition of the target for the product under development, considering cost, quality, brand, and market share; * Sensory analysis of products to be developed, together with the quality and commercial team, to validate targets and organoleptic characteristics. If rejected, a proposal for product formulation adjustment is made so that it meets the project's quality expectations; sample request; * Follow-up with suppliers for the completion of necessary documentation (Specifications or Technical Specifications Notebooks), and for scheduling audits and laboratory analyses, as well as for meeting deadlines for action plans in case of rejections in laboratory analyses or audits; * Monitoring and intermediation between the art agency, regulatory affairs agency, and suppliers for the preparation of product labeling and packaging; * Technical visit to the production area (understand how production is carried out, document, analyze, and return with the necessary data for adaptation); * Follow-up with the supplier for the approval of labels in the PGA system of DIPOA (Department of Inspection of Animal Origin Products); * Product registration (request, follow-up, and release of each SKU) * Technical analysis of product samples to be launched, as the final development stage, to confirm that the final product is in accordance with what was defined throughout the project. (first production); * Store visits and follow-up with commercial to ensure presence at the POS * Understanding and resolution of issues related to product/supplier blocking * Elaboration and analysis of Carrefour brand product performance indicators (analysis of sales volume, margin, and profit); * Monthly meetings with commercial teams to discuss current line results and various development alignments. You need to have: Higher Education in Veterinary Medicine; Advanced and/or Fluent English; Experience with technical visits to production areas; Knowledge of label approval processes in the PGA/DIPOA system.
