n. 1 Radiation Oncologist

Work location

Mater Olbia Hospital - Olbia

Role and activities

• Evaluate the indication and appropriateness of carrying out the radiation treatment, choosing and justifying this decision as an alternative to other established treatments, taking into account scientific research results
• Program the target volumes to be treated, taking into account non-target tissues
• Utilize an appropriate treatment technique depending on the clinical case
• Perform clinical evaluation of the outcome
• Cooperate with other specialists and delegated staff for practical aspects
• Ensure correct patient information regarding the risks associated with the prescribed radiation treatment
• Participate in updates of therapeutic and Quality protocols, professional development in accordance with the U.O. training plan

Requirements

• Degree in MEDICINE AND SURGERY with specialization in RADIOTHERAPY
• License to practice and registration with the Medical Association
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of the English language will be considered a preferential qualification
• Participation in scientific publications/academic events is welcome

Previous experience

Having at least one year of experience in radiation therapy activities will be considered a preferential requirement.

Determination, flexibility, teamwork skills, results-oriented, empathy.

Contractual offer

• We offer employment contract under CCNL AIOP, 13 monthly payments or freelance collaboration.
• Salary range: Reference gross annual salary €50,000 – €70,000.
• Economic incentives linked to performance, company tenure, and professional growth will be provided.
• For residents outside the region, to facilitate relocation near Mater Olbia Hospital, Medipass offers economic contributions for housing up to a maximum of €5,000.00 per year.
