Medical Technologist - Histology

_Job Level & compensation offered may vary depending on candidates' experiences and competencies ._ Responsibilities: Perform histological testing encompassing sample accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and re-embedding of tissue specimens. Perform routine H&E stain, special stains as well as immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in-situ hybridization (ISH) stains according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform slide scanning and macrodissection as required according to SOPs. Maintain accurate records of testing results and quality control measures. Collaborate with pathologists, clinicians, and other laboratory personnel to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results. Participate in proficiency testing programs and maintain certification through continuing education and training. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager or designee._
