Medical Science Manager (m/w/d) Oncology

Our customer is an international company that can look back on over 20 years of success since its founding in 1996. Our customer is represented in 148 countries and sells over 30 different medications, with oncology playing a significant and future-oriented part. Each year, more than a quarter of the earned revenue is invested in research and development to explore and develop new substances for the preservation of human health.
We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison Manager (m/w/d) Oncology at the earliest possible time.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be a medically-scientific representative in the business unit Medical Affairs in the region to be served.
- Surety of an evidence-based, medically-scientific dialogue with external experts and other healthcare professionals in the region, taking into account scientific standards and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Identification of external experts, study groups, and scientifically-oriented networks in the region to be served, as well as intense medically-scientific exchange with them.
- Participation in national and international congresses, study meetings, and regional training events with subsequent reporting.
- Initiation, organization, and implementation of medically-scientific training events and advisory boards in the indication and therapy area, including own presentation activities.
- Closely cooperating and regularly exchanging information with Regional Managers and Key Account Managers within the region to be served.
- Implementation of the qualitative and quantitative targets set out in the company's strategy according to regional and customer-specific goals.
- You will be a project leader for ISS`s (Investigator Sponsored Studies).
Your Qualifications
- Natural sciences degree (or medicine, pharmacy)
- Multiple years of experience in oncological external sales, clinic and practice, and/or within the medical department.
- Fundamental knowledge in the field of oncology and high scientific interest.
- Prior contacts with opinion leaders in the field of oncology.
- Very good English and German language skills.
- Good IT skills (MS-Office package and CRM systems).
- Communication, presentation, and negotiation strength as well as assertiveness.
- Safe appearance, social competence, and diplomatic skill.
- Readiness for increased travel activity.
- Teamwork ability.
