About the Roles
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone. Your role is key to delivering exceptional service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth flow of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the medical team with administrative tasks.
- Keep the reception area clean and welcoming.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with general practice PMS systems (Indici, MedTech, or MyPractice preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities in a busy environment.
- A positive, patient-focused attitude.
- Work with a team that cares.
- Roles available across North, Central, South, and West Auckland.
- Opportunities to connect with practices within the ProCare network and with other GP Practices.
