An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced, patient-focused Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine Doctor who thrives in fast-paced settings, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering excellent care to patients of all ages. This part-time role is available within an established Urgent Care Clinic in Whangārei.

ABOUT THE ROLE A successful candidate should be an urgent care professional who demonstrates:
- Skills in managing a broad range of acute presentations, from minor injuries to urgent medical conditions;
- Confidence in performing procedures and minor trauma management;
- Empathy, adaptation, and calmness under pressure;
- Team player spirit and a willingness to join a multidisciplinary environment;
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Current registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ);
- Legal right to work in New Zealand (visa support available);
- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance;
- Current ACLS certificate (Level 6 or equivalent);
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills;
- Familiarity with MedTech Evolution or similar systems (advantageous);
- Commitment to health equity, cultural safety, and understanding of Māori tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Supportive, collaborative clinical and administrative teams;
- Well-equipped urgent care facilities with strong clinical governance;
- Professional recognition - Australia's RACGP and AHPRA qualifications are highly regarded by the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ), making registration straightforward for most Australian-trained doctors;
