Your tasks:
- Care for sows and piglets
- Assist with the farrowing process
- Weaning of piglets
- Treating and monitoring the animals
- Cleaning and maintaining the stables
- Performing various all-round tasks on the farm
- Support with administrative tasks
ProfileWe are looking for a candidate who:
- Has affinity with agriculture and animals
- Treats animals with respect
- Likes to start early (normally from 7:30 AM, occasionally earlier if needed)
- Is flexible and takes responsibility.
- Is willing to work one weekend every two weeks
- Has their own transportation
- Has experience or knowledge of pig farming, or is willing to learn it
- Has an agriculture-related education or background, or shows strong interest in the sector
Important matters:
- Hands-on job with a lot of variety
- Flexibility is essential
- Maintenance and cleaning of stables are part of the job
- Own transportation is necessary
