Are you eager to get your hands dirty, do you want to learn a trade and are you looking for a stable job with future prospects? Then this position is for you.

As an employee in the sailmaking workshop, you will work on the repair and finishing of tent sails used worldwide. Your tasks will mainly consist of:
• Performing repairs on tent sails;
• Fusing sails using the correct equipment, including high-frequency welders;
• Stitching loops and other finishing touches with industrial sewing machines;
• Quality control of the finished work.

You will mainly work in day shift. Occasionally, it may occur that you work in a 2-shift system or are temporarily deployed in another shift, depending on the needs within the company and the peak season.Profile• Physical work does not scare you;
• You have strong motivation and a willingness to learn;
• You are looking for a stable workplace with an eye on the future;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
• You have good analytical skills;
• You are flexibly deployable within the company.

Because this is a very specific sector, experience is not required. A technical background is a plus, but motivation and commitment are the most important.
