In an organization that is constantly on the move, modernizing and expanding, the setup of physical security in organizational, architectural, and electronic security measures (OBE mix) must grow with the developments. These must be adapted, modernized, and/or expanded. That's where you come in. In this dynamic and important field, you are the point of contact for the execution of tests. You provide advice and ensure coordination for small & large changes regarding electronic security systems and act as a project employee for (more complex) change projects or security issues.

Where will you work? You will work as a civilian employee in the Physical Security Setup (IFB) department of DBBO. The location for this position is Stroe. By agreement, the location can be changed to the nearest location from your place of residence if there are important reasons for it.

The total IFB team consists of 75 employees, with 13 colleagues currently working in your team. Within IFB, however, you are not alone! Together with your colleagues within the IFB team, you will advise on the OBE mix to be implemented. Our culture can best be described as professional, collegial, and focused on development. We work hard, but certainly with room for humor, own initiative, and growth. Surveillance and security continue 24/7 – working at IFB is therefore varied, responsible, and never boring.

What will you do? As a Testing Employee, you are partly the point of contact for the execution of tests. Within the change coordination office, the officer organizes the execution of tests and is responsible for registering the results and initiating any follow-up actions. Your daily work includes, among other things: • Assessing the preliminary design in relation to requested functionalities and required financial volume based on the pricing catalog of the external service provider; • Supporting the Physical Security Setup (IFB) department with knowledge of the functionalities of the electronic security system; • Supporting the defense component and/or supplier in preparing, planning, and realizing change projects. You will mainly work from the office and have frequent contact with colleagues in the field. This makes you an important link between policy and execution.

Experience with document processing, information provision, archiving, and management support at multiple locations is more than desirable to do this job with pleasure and confidence. Furthermore, we think of: • HBO Propedeuse, desired direction Technology and/or Logistics; • Experience working according to the Prince 2 methodology; • Experience working on projects; • Experience working with Microsoft Office Word, Projects, and Excel; • Driving license B.

At Defense, as an employee, you have an individual choice budget (IKB) available monthly. This IKB is composed of your holiday allowance and year-end bonus. This makes it 16.33% of your gross salary.
