Introduction
You know how to read a technical drawing and assemble a product step by step. As an Assembly Employee, you assemble standard stainless steel products in a structured production environment — accurately, safely, and in accordance with quality requirements. Performing production work in a 2-shift system with a view to a permanent contract.
Where you will work:
You will be working at a specialized manufacturer of stainless steel products in Oosterhout. The company develops and produces everything internally — from standard products to custom work — and serves clients in the construction and infrastructure sector.
The production environment is modern and well-equipped. It is a company with a close-knit team culture of approximately 70 employees, 55 of whom are in production, and actively invests in the development of its people.
What you will do:
As an Assembly Employee, you are responsible for assembling and mounting standard stainless steel products such as cabinets, pillars, foundations, and roof hatches. You work based on technical drawings and work instructions, prepare materials and tools, and always check the result of the previous processing step before you start.
You assemble products according to fixed procedures, operate machines and electric hand tools, and check the dimensions, fit, and quality of the final product. The work is predominantly repetitive but requires constant alertness and accuracy. The role is physically demanding — you stand a lot, lift, and sometimes work in uncomfortable positions.
Tasks:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Preparing materials, tools, and parts
- Mounting and assembling standard products according to fixed procedures
- Operating machines and electric hand tools
- Checking dimensions, fit, and quality of the final product
- Identifying and resolving deviations and quality issues
What we ask:
- Experience with product assembly in a production environment
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- Accurate and quality-oriented work attitude
- Physically capable — role requires standing work, lifting, and working with personal protective equipment
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (spoken and written)
What we offer:
- Gross hourly wage of €17.50 - €19.00 (including a 14% shift allowance)
- 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
- Weekly payment
- 25 vacation days per year (based on fulltime)
- Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable income
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Working hours: early shift 06:00-14:45 / late shift 14:30-22:30
- After 1,040 worked hours, possibility of a permanent contract with the client
