Do you make information visible, accessible, and better?
For the Information Management (IHH) department, we are looking for an enthusiastic Employee Intranet, Information Management & Process Innovation.
What will you do?
In this versatile role, you will work in the heart of the organization of the Royal Netherlands Navy. You will not only be involved with technology and information, but especially with the people who use them.
You will work within various domains, actively build your own network, and have daily contact with colleagues and stakeholders. By listening carefully, you will discover what is happening within the organization and where information provision can be made smarter, more user-friendly, and more effective.
You will be jointly responsible for maintaining and further developing the intranet, performing the functional management of SharePoint, and helping to make the CZSK IHH policy visible and applicable within the organization.
Your tasks
You will be involved in, among other things:
- Improving and innovating the intranet of the Royal Netherlands Navy, with user-friendliness and accessibility at its core.
- Designing, building, and managing web pages with the CMS Sites 9.
- Actively collaborating with stakeholders: you listen, ask the right questions, and increasingly get to know the organization and its information needs.
- Processing and publishing visual material, including videos and photos.
- Providing first-line user support and assisting with questions and problems regarding the intranet and the applications used.
- Functionally managing SharePoint and contributing to a reliable and well-configured digital work environment.
- Communicating the CZSK IHH policy and involving colleagues in the importance of professional information management.
Job requirements
We are looking for someone who does not wait but takes initiative and gets things moving. You enjoy making new contacts and can easily switch between users, stakeholders, and colleagues.
You are a team player and a go-getter. You are a good listener, know how to create support, and do not lose sight of the ultimate goal. You dare to come up with new ideas and see opportunities to make existing methods smarter and better.
In short: are you someone who wants to build, connect, and innovate? Then this role offers you the opportunity to make a visible contribution to the further development of information management and digital information provision within the Royal Netherlands Navy.

The Royal Netherlands Navy attaches great importance to personal growth and career development and offers numerous opportunities for this. In addition to your salary, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget (IKB). The IKB consists of money (16.33% of your gross annual salary) and time. With the IKB, you make choices that suit you and can assemble a portion of your employment conditions yourself. For example, you can choose to have a portion of your monthly income paid out when you wish. You can also convert this budget into extra vacation days or spend it on tax-friendly goals, such as an (electric) bicycle or laptop. It is also possible to (temporarily) reduce your working hours by a few hours per week.
We also believe it is important that you can combine working for Defence with your private life. Various leave arrangements (such as 75% paid parental leave) and attention to physical and mental health contribute to a good balance. For example, you can use our extensive sports facilities free of charge. In addition to a pension scheme with ABP, you will receive a monthly commuting allowance or, under favorable conditions, you can opt for a public transport subscription with unlimited travel throughout the Netherlands.

- The selection interviews will currently take place on October 14, 2026; you are expected to be available on this day.
- A security investigation of at least 8 weeks and a reference check are part of the selection procedure.
- To be eligible for this position, you must be from a country in the European Economic Area. If this is not the case, you must possess a combined residence and work permit (GVVA).
