The team brings together experienced professionals working 24/7 in specialized units - adult acute psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, addiction studies, and psychosocial rehabilitation - offering integrated and individualized care in open or closed environments as needed. It also carries out liaison and training missions recognized by the ISFM, contributing to the quality of care and the training of psychiatrists.

Specialist Physician in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Addictions (M/F)

Job Description

• Intervene in the hospitalization of individuals with disorders related to addictions and requiring psychiatric care.
• Provide specialized consultations and care in addiction studies within the multidisciplinary team.
• Be a driving force in the evolution of addiction studies within the Mental Health Hub by contributing to projects and the development of an integrated care system that guarantees high standards and comprehensive management of addiction-related issues.
• Actively participate in the development of care projects and the continuous improvement of practices in addiction studies within the institution.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized care plans tailored to individuals affected by addictions.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with general practitioners and network partners to facilitate smooth collaboration and attentive follow-up of the individuals being supported.

Qualifications

• You have comprehensive training in psychiatry and psychotherapy of addictions. You also hold the FMH specialist title (or equivalent). You master French at a minimum C1 level.
• You have confirmed experience in clinical psychiatry, ideally in a hospital setting. Experience in an academic environment would also be appreciated.
• You possess strong skills in listening, analysis, and decision-making. Your field and theoretical expertise enable you to easily manage complex and high-emotional-intensity situations. You work autonomously while respecting protocols, clinical standards, and the institution's values.
• You appreciate working within a multidisciplinary team and communicate easily with various members of the care network. Your collaborative spirit is a real asset in contributing to the collective enrichment of the psychiatry and addiction studies department.
• You demonstrate a strong sense of ethics, confidentiality, and respect. Your benevolent and empathetic approach allows you to create a safe environment, fostering the therapeutic alliance essential in the care of individuals affected by addictions.
