Job description

The Department of Community Medicine and Primary Care (DMCPR) has a social mission to enable access to quality care for all through proximity medicine, d'asylum seekers and refugees. This unit is responsible for the health care of asylum seekers and refugees, including medical check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses. The Assistant or Associate Physician will be responsible for coordinating the activities of this unit, ensuring that the health needs of asylum seekers and refugees are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, with experience working with vulnerable populations. He/She will also have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Assistant or Associate Physician will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
