Mechatronics Mechanic

As a Mechatronics Mechanic at VDL Container Systems in Hapert, you will build complete container handling systems together with a team. Do you have a feel for technology and are you a real team player? Then we are looking for you!

This is what you will do:

As a Mechatronics Mechanic at VDL Container Systems, you will build complete installations or parts thereof. Based on working drawings, instructions, and schematics, you will work independently or in a team on a product. Your daily activities include;

• Assembling control cabinets, panels, and wiring them with corresponding coding of components and cabling;
• Mounting electrical installations and various components on the final products;
• Parameterizing systems, adjusting machines according to specifications, and testing inputs and outputs of PLCs / CAN systems;
• Testing the software programs required to control the machines;
• Final inspection / testing to ensure products leave 100% correct;
• Initiating and contributing ideas for improvements.

About you:

As a Mechatronics Mechanic at VDL Container Systems, you are familiar with all-round electrical work and have good knowledge of electrical, diagnostics, and software. You have experience with independently reading schematics and drawings and strive for a high level of quality.

You will also bring the following:

• Completed technical MBO (vocational) education;
• A quality and safety-oriented attitude towards work;
• Proactive and problem-solving;
• Collegial, reliable, and motivated;
• Communicative in contact with colleagues and/or external contacts.
