Mechatronic Engineer (m/w/d) - KI, Robotics & Recycling

This is your new passion

• Conceptualization, design, and development of AI-based sorting and recycling systems
• Selection, integration, and testing of sensorics and actuators (cameras, X-ray technology, pneumatics, robotics)
• Creation and maintenance of 3D-CAD models, drawings, and assemblies
• Prototype construction and accompaniment of tests for new machines
• Commissioning of new systems - sometimes on-site at the customer's location
• Preparation and adaptation of electrical circuit diagrams (e.g. EPLAN)
• Tight coordination with mechatronics, electrical engineering, and software during system integration
• Programming of control systems (Beckhoff/TwinCAT)
• Creation of installation and test instructions as well as acceptance protocols
• Technical coordination with suppliers, production, and internal teams
• Creation and maintenance of parts lists
• Support in the transition from prototypes to series production
• Dokumentation of technical systems and technical changes

This is what excites us

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
• Experience with machine or system design, ideally in technical systems or special machines
• Practical experience in prototype development and technical commissioning
• Fundamental experience in the CAD area (3D construction, assembly design, detailing)
• Knowledge of cooperation with suppliers and production partners
• Handicraft skills as well as a solution-oriented and independent working style
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for technical responsibility
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Travel readiness for multi-day service deployments at our customers' locations
