Mechanic (m/f/d)
To strengthen our team in Zofingen, we are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual as a Mechanic (m/f/d). In this role, you will ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of our machines and systems in a chemical production environment.You will work in a versatile technical environment and, through your expertise, make an important contribution to operational safety, system availability, and the continuous improvement of our production processes.Your Responsibilities- Maintenance (servicing, upkeep, repair) of machines and systems in a chemical production environment (e.g., pumps, motors, valves)
- Support of pure water and cooling water systems
- Participation in the optimization of existing systems
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical and mechatronic systems in collaboration with system supervisors and production
- General machining work such as turning, milling, and (conventional)
- Careful documentation of performed work
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (especially GMP)
- Completed vocational training as a mechanic with a Federal Certificate of Proficiency (e.g., Polymechaniker, Produktionsmechaniker, Mechapraktiker)
- Several years of professional experience as a mechanic in an industrial environment
- Experience in the maintenance of machines and systems is an advantage
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to be on call (no shift work)
- Strong quality awareness and a reliable work ethic
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of dismantling and reassembling machines
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Team spirit, flexibility, and a high level of commitment
- Service-oriented thinking and acting
