We are currently looking for someone to work in our workshop at the Technical Office of CMC Poland Sp. z o.o. at the Scrap Yard in Herby

Mechanic (m/f)

Place of work: Herby
Region: Silesian Voivodeship

SCOPE OF DUTIES:
  • Diagnostics and repair of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems:

- trucks (hook loaders, HDS)

- transshipment machines (mainly mobile cranes)

- scrap processing machines (balers, baler-shears)

- and other equipment of the CMC Poland Sp. z o.o. Scrap Yard

  • Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Technical vocational or technical secondary education (mechanics-related preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in repairing mechanical vehicles or machinery (with an emphasis on trucks, trailers, scrap transshipment machines, and balers)
  • Ability to read technical documentation and technical drawings of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Category B driver's license
  • Willingness to go on business trips (delegations to other CMC Poland Sp. z o.o. Scrap Yards located throughout the country)
  • Teamwork skills and good communication
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Reliability and accuracy
  • Nice to have:
    - UDT (Office of Technical Inspection) certifications for operating cranes, hoists, forklift trucks, or overhead cranes
    - UDT (Office of Technical Inspection) machine conservator certifications for the maintenance of cranes, hoists, forklift trucks, or overhead cranes
    - SEP (Association of Polish Electrical Engineers) certifications (GP1 electrical for operation, up to 1 kV)
    - welding certifications (electric welding 111 and/or MIG/MAG welding)
