Mechanical Technician Workshop

Cammach are currently recruiting for a Workshop Mechanic for an oil & gas client in the Inverurie area. This is a permanent position for an established expanding client. Applicants should have a background in Diesel engines, compressors and generators. It would be highly advantageous to have experience with well service equipment and top side Diesel driven units. ROLE Mechanical Engineer: is responsible for undertaking jobs and work instruction from Workshop Supervisor and of the Company’s operational requirements. This includes but is not limited to: • Maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and vehicles • Troubleshooting and fault finding • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks • Assisting in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules • Maintaining accurate records of work completed • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives • Working in a team environment to achieve company objectives. The successful candidate will be a skilled and experienced mechanical technician with a strong background in Diesel engines, compressors and generators. The ideal candidate will have experience with well service equipment and top side Diesel driven units. The role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required. The role is based in the Inverurie area and the successful candidate will be required to travel to the client’s site as required.
