Mechanical Technical Expert

Function As a Technical Expert, you offer specialized support for offshore vessels, with a focus on mechanics. You work together with internal stakeholders to ensure that all technical systems and equipment are maintained at a top level. This role includes creating work orders, developing maintenance plans, and collaborating with external suppliers and service providers for knowledge exchange and optimal performance. Below is a selection of your tasks: * Providing technical expertise and support for mechanical systems and equipment. * Creating, managing, and monitoring work orders within the maintenance management system. * Developing and optimizing maintenance plans and procedures. * Collaborating with various departments to ensure effective maintenance and repair. * Coordinating with external suppliers and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and inspections. * Analyzing technical issues and implementing solutions. * Monitoring the performance of mechanical systems and identifying areas for improvement. * Maintaining technical documentation and records. * Providing training and guidance to colleagues. * Participating in technical meetings and sharing knowledge. Requirements: * Completed relevant technical education (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology). * Several years of experience in a similar role within the maritime or offshore industry. * In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance processes. * Experience with maintenance management systems. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
