Mechanical Project Engineer

Function As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you are part of the engineering department and you contribute to the improvement and renewal of the machinery. You are responsible for projects that contribute to capacity increase, efficiency improvement and product innovation. You guide projects from concept and feasibility study to design, implementation and start-up. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues from electrical engineering for control, drive and sensors, and you follow external suppliers. Your responsibilities: * Elaboration of technical concepts and solutions. * Making calculations and simulations. * Creating technical drawings and documentation. * Management of projects (planning, budget, progress). * Coordination with internal and external parties. * Monitoring of progress and reporting. * Commissioning and start-up of machines. Requirements: * Completed Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. * Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a production environment. * Knowledge of CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks). * Knowledge of production processes and machine building. * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. * Good communication skills and teamwork. * Knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
