Mechanical Pipeline Technician

Job Description Mō tēnei tūranga mahi (About the position) We’re looking for a Mechanical Pipeline Technician to bring some good energy to the Southern Field Team. This is a fantastic role for someone who loves getting out and about, interacting with a range of stakeholders (landowners, contractors, iwi, local councils) and working on assets of national significance. Undertake high quality mechanical maintenance services on our gas transmission network. Take charge and get involved in site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements. Develop strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and problem-solving. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture. This role requires a mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
