Mechanical Engineer

Job description

The purpose of this function is to develop client-specific projects within mechanical engineering and piping. Our production is equipped with complete work packages. In addition to setting up the work packages, you will (partially) purchase your projects. Work packages consist of 2D drawings and preparation work. The drawings are based on West End or customer designs. Our preparation work includes, among other things, 3D CAM files, material lists, and cutting lists. The candidate we are looking for is flexible, enjoys thinking creatively with our project teams, and can communicate well with customers.

Setting up preparation work, including input into ERP software
Purchasing required materials
Drawing parts and assemblies
Printing out drawing packages
Assisting project teams regarding technical issues during execution

Function requirements:

Customer-friendly/service-oriented
Minimum 5 years of experience
SolidWorks experience
Good command of Dutch and English language
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
Team player
