Mechanical Engineer - VIE contract

Vesuvius is a global leader in metal flow engineering, providing a full range of engineering services and solutions to its customers worldwide, principally serving the steel and foundry industries. The Vesuvius Flow Control division focuses on developing leading-edge core engineering technologies to be used in the continuous casting process. Inside Vesuvius Flow Control, the Mechatronics team focus its activity on engineering and development of mechatronic solutions for the continuous casting process. The team is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team for a VIE contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of mechatronic solutions for the continuous casting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in the design and development of mechatronic systems. The candidate should also have a good understanding of the continuous casting process and its related technologies. The VIE contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in [location] and will be required to work closely with the Mechatronics team to deliver the project objectives.
