Contribute to the execution of power plant projects within the mechanical engineering team, including decarbonized and hybrid solutions, with responsibility for mechanical subsystems such as cranes, lifting equipment, and elevatorsAnalyze customer contracts and technical requirements, prepare specifications and tender documents, and ensure proper implementation throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate interfaces with other disciplines (e.g. steel structures, layout, electrical), align contractor activities with project and site requirements, and support overall project integrationMonitor and control contractors in terms of schedules, costs, and quality, including reviewing engineering, manufacturing, and quality documentation as well as participating in design reviewsManage technical issues, perform troubleshooting, and support claim management and negotiations with suppliers and contractorsSupport supplier qualification and development while ensuring proper reporting of engineering progress, deadlines, quality, and costs within the mechanical scope Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with experience in power generation or EPC projects and a good understanding of power plant components and CHP systemsStrong technical and analytical mindset combined with customer focus and the ability to deliver solutions within budget, quality, and time constraintsExperience with interdisciplinary collaboration and working in international, cross-functional teams, along with a proactive and self-driven approachSolid knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including materials, welding, machining, and component design, as well as familiarity with relevant standards (e.g. EN 81, EN 13001, EN 15011)Proficiency in 2D/3D design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, E3D) and excellent English communication skillsWillingness to travel internationally Benefit from exclusive access to interesting companies and exciting projects in collaboration with Hays as a reliable and stable partnerCompensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement of the industry (GVP)30 days of annual vacation entitlementWorking time account with the option of overtime compensation through payment or time off in lieuProfessional and trust-based working environment Our many years of recruitment experience and our expert knowledge of the engineering job market make us a strong partner for engineers and technicians.
