Mechanical engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the good functioning and maintenance of equipment used in the production process, from a mechanical point of view, in collaboration with the maintenance team. The role includes planning and organizing maintenance activities, implementing Lean principles, and coordinating the team to achieve operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment functioning within parameters for production, handling, auxiliary installations, and laboratory equipment.
• Plan and organize maintenance actions to minimize impact on current activities.
• Verify the quality of executed work and pursue rapid defect correction.
• Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new equipment according to the investment plan.
• Organize metrology activities and train personnel under your supervision.
• Dedicate a minimum of 20% of your time to Lean activities: training, implementation, workshops, and audits.
• Report results according to Lean KPIs and communicate improvements to management.
• Respect internal standards, legal requirements, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and team coordination.
• Knowledge of production processes and industrial equipment.
• Planning, organizing, and rapid problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and a desire to implement them.
• Seriousness, correctness, and efficient communication skills.
• English language proficiency.
• Minimum knowledge of AutoCAD.
