Mechanical Engineer

ERO SRL, a manufacturer of adhesive application and quality assurance systems, is offering employment for a Mechanical / Design Engineer to join the Engineering team at our facility in Montirone – Brescia, Italy. The Mechanical / Design Engineer will support the Engineering team across multiple functions, from the development of new designs to support our existing equipment, to improvements to existing designs to help reduce costs. Initially, the primary focus of the role will be migrating existing designs into the latest versions of our CAD software and to create bills of materials and production drawings, but this role offers the opportunity for future growth within the Engineering department and the company. Key Responsibilities: * Design of mechanical components and systems for adhesive application and quality assurance equipment. * Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software. * Perform calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet required specifications and standards. * Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and service. * Research and selection of materials and components. * Preparation of technical documentation, including manuals and assembly instructions. * Support the manufacturing process by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting. * Continuous improvement of existing designs and processes. * Ensure designs comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering. * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). * Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. * Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with adhesive application or quality assurance equipment. * Experience with FEA simulations. * Knowledge of automation and robotics. * Experience with PLM systems. * Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
