Role Overview

Allmarc Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Projects Division for erection and commissioning of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures and heavy fabrication works. The role requires technical expertise, site execution leadership, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards while ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute erection & commissioning of PEB structures, structural steel, and heavy fabrication works at site.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings, fabrication schedules, and erection plans for accuracy.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage erection equipment such as cranes, lifts, welding machines, and rigging tools.
• Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, bolting, and welding inspections in line with quality standards.
• Monitor QA/QC compliance, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), and inspection requirements.
• Implement strict EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices and compliance with statutory norms.
• Prepare progress reports, manpower allocation sheets, and work schedules for management review.
• Troubleshoot site challenges and support project handover & commissioning activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in PEB erection methods, steel structures, and heavy fabrication execution.
• Proficiency in welding, bolting, rigging, and material handling procedures.
• Sound knowledge of QA/QC standards, IS codes, and NDT procedures.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 3–7 years of experience in erection & commissioning of PEB structures/heavy fabrication projects.
• Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or highway projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Indian Standards (IS), welding codes, and fabrication guidelines required.
