Mechanical Engineer (Designer - HVAC) | Permanent WFH

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer with around 20 years of expertise in HVAC design for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has a solid background working in an MEP engineering office, collaborating closely with architectural clients, and delivering high-quality, efficient mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial building projects. Apply deep knowledge of hydronic systems, including chilled water systems, heat pumps, and air-handling units. Develop detailed designs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building design. Conduct site visits to inspect mechanical installations and verify compliance with design specifications. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and designers. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC design. Develop and maintain detailed project records, including design calculations, drawings, and reports. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 20 years of experience in HVAC design for commercial buildings. Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
