Mechanical Engineer - Cancer Instrumentation - Cambridge A growing division within an established Medical Devices organisation in South Cambridge is currently seeking an experienced Medical Devices Mechanical Engineer to contribute to their ongoing development of cutting-edge cancer instrumentation, aimed at improving patient recovery rates. This company is expanding its team dedicated to Medical Devices Instrumentation, primarily focusing on Cancer Instrumentation. Ideally, they are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing innovative medical devices, including mechanical components, software integration, and quality control. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the medical devices industry. In addition, they should be familiar with relevant regulations, such as FDA guidelines, and have experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products.
