Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/x)

To strengthen our expert team at our customer from the radio and communications industry, we're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/x) in full-time employment at K-tronik. Duties:

• In this position, you'll be responsible for idea generation, product conception, and design creation (3D-CAD) for devices, systems, installations, standard modules, and micro-mechanics/electronics - You'll take over the detailed construction, stress calculation, and are responsible for cooling and ventilation concepts for electronic devices - Additionally, you'll create drawings according to ISO GPS, manage documents or product data management (PDM), and handle changes and product maintenance - Production monitoring of development samples, series production, and testing of type tests will also be part of your responsibilities - Furthermore, you're responsible for project management, creating work packages, estimating time and calculating manufacturing costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on construction, Aerospace Technology or equivalent qualification - Practical experience in design with 3D-CAD (e.g. NX) and tolerance according to ISO GPS - Basic knowledge of thermal processes and cooling electronic devices - Basic understanding of stress calculation for mechanical structures and the construction of statically and dynamically loaded components - Basic knowledge of electrical engineering - Engaged, self-reliant, and team-oriented working style - Confident appearance, communication skills, and intercultural competence - Fluent German and good English language skills in writing and speaking.
