Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the housing design for our next-generation solutions, including the Motor Controller Unit (MCU), BMS, DC-DC Converter, and Vehicle Controller Unit (VCU). The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and will be working for the mechanical design process, encompassing simulation, development, and testing of mechanical components. Responsibilities Prepare the different mechanical design concepts for Charging solutions products. Create 3D models and 2D drawings according to the requirements, and maintain the related documents. Perform mechanical simulations (Thermal, Stress, Vibration) and related analysis. Participate in design reviews and ensure designs meet requirements and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.). Select materials and components. Support prototyping and testing activities. Generate technical documentation (e.g., specifications, reports). Follow up on the supplier and manufacturing processes. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry. Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia, etc.). Experience with mechanical simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, etc.). Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with thermal management, vibration analysis, and structural analysis. Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations is a plus. Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
