Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer job description:

• Design 2D and 3D mechanical devices from various fields: aeronautics / spatial / transport / automobile / energy;
• Conceptualize mechanical assemblies, modify devices;
• Prepare the manufacturing file: dimensioning parts, creating assembly and sub-assembly plans, preparing reference lists;
• Analyze technical proposals and task sheets;
• Suggest and choose optimal technical solutions in accordance with task sheets and quality requirements, respecting execution times and deadlines;
• Report on project progress: what remains to be done in relation to objectives;
• Control (3D and 2D).

• A dynamic person who wants to work in a design office but also be involved in the production process of realized projects.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education degree in mechanical engineering completed;
• Experience in a design office and production process (minimum 2 years);
• Good analytical and proposal skills;
• Good knowledge of industrial technical drawing;
• Better understanding of a CAD design instrument (CATIA V5 - minimum 2 years);
• Knowledge of English is mandatory, French is an advantage;
• Communication and integration qualities, rigor, initiative, sense of responsibility.
