Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

As a mechanical design engineer, you will work on the development of new machines with a focus on electromechanical and robotized systems. By closely collaborating with the team of design engineers, you will translate customer-specific needs into a detailed, tailor-made mechanical design. You will take cost efficiency into account. You will work closely with colleagues from work preparation to ensure a flawless technical transfer to the workshop. Furthermore, you will offer the necessary technical expertise and support once colleagues in assembly start working.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
• Extensive knowledge of electromechanical systems.
• Experience with robotics and automation technologies.
• Ability to translate customer-specific needs into concrete solutions.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Affinity with cost efficiency and technical optimization.
• Drive to follow new technological trends.
