Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer / Electro-Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in NX and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in mechanical design, cable routing, and working within Teamcenter PLM systems. Knowledge of Change Request / Engineering Change Notice (CR/ECN) processes, BoM management, and product documentation is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems. • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using NX and SolidWorks. • Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet required specifications. • Oversee cable routing and harness design. • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance. • Manage and maintain product data within Teamcenter PLM. • Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BoM). • Participate in CR/ECN processes and implement engineering changes. • Create and maintain product documentation, including specifications and manuals. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design. • Proficiency in NX and SolidWorks. • Experience with cable routing and harness design. • Experience working with Teamcenter PLM systems. • Strong understanding of GD&T principles. • Knowledge of CR/ECN processes and BoM management. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
