Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Job description

Lavorint S.p.A., ATTAL Group, a recruitment agency specializing in human resources, is looking for a Heavy Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to work for a company located near Verona. The successful candidate will be part of the Scania technical team, responsible for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on heavy vehicles and trucks. They will also perform routine and extraordinary maintenance, identify faults and malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools, and compile technical reports. Other responsibilities include ensuring correct functioning of systems following quality and safety procedures, collaborating with the technical team to resolve complex problems, and providing technical support to clients or internal operators when necessary. Responsibilities: - Routine and extraordinary maintenance of trucks and heavy vehicles - Identify faults, malfunctions, and anomalies using advanced diagnostic tools - Testing of vehicles after intervention - Compiling technical reports on interventions performed and updating internal documentation - Ensuring correct functioning of systems following quality and safety procedures - Collaborating with the technical team to resolve complex problems - Providing technical support to clients or internal operators when necessary Requirements: - Previous experience as an electronic/mechanical technician or in similar roles on heavy vehicles - Advanced knowledge of electronics, measurement tools, and analysis - Competences in repairing mechanical and electromechanical components - Ability to read electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and test protocols - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Autonomous operational capabilities, precision, and ability to manage priorities - Availability for occasional travel or out-of-office interventions - Technical diploma (electronic, mechanical, mechatronics) or equivalent - B driving license Benefits: - Professional and technical growth path - Scania training - Quarterly bonuses tied to individual and team results - Completely renovated work environment: clean, organized, with air conditioning even in the workshop - Positive working climate: available colleagues, united and collaborative team - Central office location in Verona, easily accessible - Structured company welfare program Schedule: Daily Workplace: Verona Type of contract: Temporary employment aimed at hiring This job posting is open to candidates of both sexes (L. 903/77).
