Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic who will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance activities on our company's fleet of heavy equipment. After an initial training period at the Parma Machinery Workshop, the resource will be transferred to Projects in Europe and Extra Europe. Main responsibilities: Inspect the entire fleet of assets owned by the Company, including bulldozers, cranes, graders, and other heavy construction equipment to ensure that they are in good working order and comply with safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance tasks on the equipment, such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs. Conduct inspections and tests to identify any defects or malfunctions and take corrective action to prevent accidents. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment. Provide technical support and assistance to operators and other personnel who use the equipment. Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair orders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Company's fleet of heavy equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and operating procedures.
