MECCA Christchurch - Floor Manager

The Role You Could Play We are looking for a passionate Floor Manager to help lead our NZ Flagship store in Christchurch on a parental leave cover, full time basis. This new multi-level store will be truly world class! As NZ’s Flagship store, it’ll be the third biggest store in the entire MECCA fleet! You will be reporting to the Store Manager and responsible for: Living and breathing the MECCA values as you lead by example Drive success and engagement in the store team, assisting in performance management and development, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will be the go-to person for all store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. You will also be responsible for: Maintaining a high level of store appearance, ensuring the store is always clean, tidy, and visually appealing. This includes ensuring all displays are well-maintained, and the store is free from any hazards or obstacles. You will be working closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, manage stock levels, and maintain a positive and productive store environment. You will also be responsible for: Managing and developing a team of sales consultants, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service. This includes conducting regular performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback, and identifying opportunities for growth and development. You will be the key point of contact for all store-related matters, and will be responsible for: Communicating effectively with the Store Manager, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless store operations. You will also be responsible for: Maintaining accurate records and reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback. This includes using our store management system to track and analyze store performance, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth. You will be the champion of our MECCA values, and will be responsible for: Embedding our values into the store culture, and ensuring that all team members understand and live by them. This includes leading by example, and promoting a positive and inclusive store environment. You will also be responsible for: Supporting the Store Manager in the development and implementation of store strategies, and contributing to the overall success of the MECCA business. This includes staying up-to-date with industry trends, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
