Mechanic/Inspector ITV

A mechanic is needed to perform technical vehicle inspections at an ITV (Vehicle Technical Inspection) station in Plasencia. The duties consist of inspecting vehicles according to the Inspection Procedure Manual, following what is established in Royal Decree 920/2017. Theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanics and technical inspection is necessary, and the work will be performed under the supervision of the competent technician, operating inspection equipment and interpreting the results. To be eligible for the position, a Technician qualification (Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle) in any specialty of Transport and Maintenance of Self-Propelled Vehicles, or a Higher Technician in Automotive or equivalent is required. Furthermore, the requirements of the V Collective Agreement for the staff of the Junta de Extremadura and Annex VI of Royal Decree 920/2017 must be met: having at least three years of documented experience in the sector or equivalent training, and possessing the minimum qualification indicated.
